Companies big problem has to do with trust. Like Dominos for intense has the slogan that if they don't deliver the pizza on time then it is free. McDonald's has given a lot back to the environment and has go green on a lot of there products. Ford is working harder than ever to gain that trust of the people and still has problems with production. "In a phone survey that was conducted from May 26 to July 3 by public relations firm Wadelman, only 44% of Americans said they trusted business down from 58% in the fall of 2007." The days of T.V. commercials getting banned are over. People are now researching opinions on brands and products more than ever. McDonald's has the problem of serving unhealthy food at there restaurants. Head global chief for marketing of McDonald's says that "trust and transparency are more important to us than ever. Before Mcdonald's was ignoring critics and now the are working with them. McDonald's cheap eats have helped a lot during the recession. Ford is diverting there money usually spent on vehicle discounts and used it to pump up the PR budget. AmEx had little choice but to rebuild its relationship with customers. At the end of commercials viewers are invited to visit a AmEx web site that gives tips for small businesses
